The tale of Beauty and the Beast

"Love is the only sacrifice that can break the enchantment."
"To judge by appearance is to miss the beauty of our inner souls....and they lived happily ever after."

Symbolic in this piece are the roses on the Beauty's dress, since it was by her Father's hand that the most beautiful rose the Beast possessed was picked, and so the story began.

To create this work I used the Alabaster Portrait Action,
tools in Photoshop including the Photo Filter, Diffuse, the sponge tool which either adds or subtracts saturation, and the dodge tool to lighten certain parts.
